Tloona is a development environment (IDE) for Tcl/Tk, Itcl and XOTcl, including project management, code browser, deployment and other features. There is also support for web applications (html, AOLServer/.adp, Tclhttpd/.tml, websh/.ws3)

About Tloona

Tloona is the “next generation” Tcl/Tk, and Itcl/Itk IDE. Some of the features are:

  • Code browser for Tcl and Itcl
  • Syntax highlighting for both, Tcl and Itcl and Tk/Itk
  • Code completion for commands, ensembles, classes, objects and variables
  • graphical display and browsing of procedure call hierarchies, and class hierarchies
  • automatic evaluation of scripts and procedures
  • project management for Tcl/Tk applications and extensions
  • documentation browser
  • built in debugger

I was inspired by Eclipse and Ased and started to write an IDE for Tcl/Tk that should have a little from these both.
